While we have a range of consultants
and associate trainers that work with us on a regular
basis, the following represent the core OpenMinds team.
David
has wide ranging expertise and competencies in the
area of diversity management. He has conducted research
on the issue of policing and interculturalism in
the Irish context and has worked/lectured in both
Ireland and Europe on diversity issues. He is a
member of and a former board member of SIETAR Europa
(Society for Intercultural Education, Training and
Research). He is a member of the Sociological Association
of Ireland and the author of Policing Pluralism
(in Cultivating Pluralism, Oak tree Press, 2000).
He is a Licenced Master Practitioner of Neuro Lingustic
Programming and is trained in the use of Appreciative
Enquiry as a research methodology in managing differences.
David is also a member of the IMCA (Institute of
Management Consultants and Advisors in Ireland)
and the ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management).

Susan Walsh, holds a
PhD in marketing and management, an MA in marketing
and an IITD Trainers Skills certificate. In addition,
she is a member of the Institute of Business Advisers
and a graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
In conjunction with
her academic background she has considerable industry
experience (having worked in the financial services
sector in Ireland for over ten years). As the
Openminds Organisational Consultant she assists
clients in meeting the strategic and tactical
challenges presented by increased diversity from
both an employees and customer perspective.

Kieran Kelly was called to the
bar in 1997 and is a practising barrister. He has lived
and worked in the former Yugoslavia under the auspices
of the United Nations and has lectured at third level
on Irish legislation.
He holds a BA, BCL and Diploma
in Law from UCC and an MA from John Jay College of Criminal
Justice, CUNY
